After reading The Hermes Hippie’s truly epic review of Living Libations’ tantalizing offerings, there was no way I was going to resist making a haul of my own. I am still in the process of testing several of their products, but it has only taken me a few weeks to fall deeply in love with their utterly swoon-worthy perfume, Night Flight to Venus.
As I mentioned in my recent review of Satori, yuzu is one of my favorite citrus essences, and it is utilized beautifully in this all natural perfume. Along with tangerine, yuzu brings a refreshing brightness and clarity to this heady floral experience overflowing with jasmine and neroli. Nadine Artemis, creator of Night Flight to Venus, describes it as being in “full celestial bloom” which is quite apropos. When I inhale this heavenly perfume, I am able to visualize sultry jasmine and neroli blossoms glowing like stars, radiating their intoxicating scents on a warm night. And if you like your perfume festooned with a hint of the tropics, you will love her use of Massoia as well.
Massoia wood comes from Cryptocarya massoia, a tree native to Indonesia, and has the fragrance of coconut which is readily apparent in Night Flight to Venus. These three components of citrus, white flowers and coconut, mingle to create a fragrance that is uplifting, sensual and dreamy. I would be remiss not to mention two other important notes that are present, vanilla and also steam distilled hay, as both add a sweet warmth to Night Flight to Venus which ground the fragrance and deepen its base. Like the overwhelming majority of all botanical perfumes it wears close to the skin, but much to my surprise its longevity is really impressive at around 10 hours!
If you have already discovered Living Libations, please tell me what you love from their line. If you have not delved into their website, be sure to do so, but only when you’ve got some time on your hands. It’s not the easiest site to navigate. But once you wind your way around it, you will certainly find some worthy items to explore. As for me, the Radiant Earth of Deep Delight is next on my list. What’s on yours?
Night Flight to Venus is available at LivingLibations.com: $114 for 50ml, $66 for 25ml, $26 for 5ml.
Disclosure: A sample of Night Flight to Venus was sent to me as a GWP with my order. All opinions are my own.

Looking very very nice! i am tempted! x
After reading this, I proceeded to then read the Hermes Hippie post and whizzed on over to the Living Libations site. Oh dear, they do have some nice-sounding stuff! Why do I even bother to declare to myself that I am now fulfilled and do not need or want anything else for the foreseeable future? 😉
I hope that once you’ve completed the assessment of your LL haul, you’ll do a video. Thanks for the fantastic review!

Trish, I’ve been watching your videos and love that you mention many Living Libations products. I second the above suggestion of a Living Libations review on your channel! I just discovered the brand a few months ago but have really become a fan. I would love to hear more of your thoughts on their products!
